Quests

Talk

  1. “This was my stall. I sold eggs. Then the chicken died. People said Walt, get another chicken. But it's not the same chicken. I'm loyal.”
  2. “I sit here so nobody takes the stall. Nobody's tried. But if they did, boy. I'd let them. I'm old.”
  3. “Those crypts. You go down in one, you come up with a scrap of map. Tells you where the next crypt is. That's the whole reward for a crypt. Directions to a worse crypt.”
  4. “My brother went to the grey island. Wrote me a letter. Said 'Dear Walt, it's fine here.' His handwriting and everything. But he'd been dead a year. So I don't know. Maybe it is fine.”
  5. “Out on the cowboy island they settle things with a duel. Here we settle things by not talking about it for forty years. I think ours is better. Fewer funerals. Same amount of quiet.”
  6. “People ask me what I'm waiting for. I say nothing. They think I mean I'm not waiting. No. I'm waiting for nothing. It's coming along fine.”

When you walk off mid-sentence

  • “Walkin' off on an old man. That's fine. I'm used to it. The chicken did the same.”
  • “Hey. Ah, forget it. I forgot what I was sayin' anyhow.”
  • “Go on. Go. At my age, everybody's walkin' away. Mostly faster than you.”
